Laser scanner XGRIDS Lixel Kity K1
The Kitty K1 extends its utility beyond standard 3DGS visualization to support basic geodesy, topography, and architectural workflows, driven by its longer-range LiDAR and sophisticated cloud generation software. While its point cloud density is not as high as the Portal Cam’s, it remains sufficient for machine learning datasets and select LED studio environments. To maximize the device’s potential, however, it is critically important to operate in well-lit conditions and move slowly to maintain tracking accuracy. Furthermore, our operational experience indicates that achieving complete surface coverage requires allocating extra time specifically for ground-level collection.
Typical Applications
Ideal for larger structures and outdoor environments, typical scenes collected with the Kitty K1 include the Opole University courtyard and the Rhodes riverfront.
Lixel Kity K1 is a compact handheld scanning and modeling device manufactured by XGRIDS.
Welcome to the world of innovation with Lixel Kity K1 – a handheld 3D laser scanner that combines impressive performance with high mobility!
With a lightweight housing weighing less than 1 kg, it integrates a high-performance computing unit, 56-megapixel panoramic vision modules and a 360° scanner capable of creating real-time color 3D models with centimeter accuracy. Designed for professionals, SMEs and 3D enthusiasts, it offers a user-friendly solution for 3D capture and modeling.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
The 40-channel scanner scans at a speed of 200,000 points per second from a distance of up to 40 meters. The accuracy is up to 1.2 cm.
EASY TO USE
Just pick up the device, walk around and scan.
Real-time 3D modeling is as easy as walking.
The combination of laser points and 56 million pixel imagery allows the device to generate colorful, detailed 3D point cloud models in real time.
ENHANCED Multi-SLAM
Fusing data from multiple sensors, including laser, camera and GNSS, provides stable scanning with increased flexibility of use depending on conditions.
